Kobi Zarfati

Kobi Zarfati was born at 1977 in the southern city of Israel "Arad", nearby the Dead Sea. He was inspired from the desert nature of this unique area, and started to draw and paint, revealing his natural talent.

In the past years he was living in Tel Aviv, after a period that he lived in the U.S.A and sold his paintings.

Zarfati studied animation in the Tel-Aviv University, and he is working as a graphic designer in the international advertising office, "McCann Erickson".

Among the exhibitions in which he participated:

· "A stop in time" – A solo exhibition at the "Gallery Central", Israel.

· "Give me some peace" – A group exhibition at "Stobik Gallery", Israel.

· "The annual exhibition of the National Bank of Israel", which encourage young artists and the creation.

· A Solo exhibition of landscapes & figures from the artist's experiences on his journey to India, "Muse House Gallery", Tel Aviv.

· "The Secret Art" – In this exhibition Zarfati presented his work "Ayin tzofiyah", along with great artists such as Menashe Kadishman, Uri Lifshitz and Aliza Olmert (Former Israeli prime minister wife).

Zarfati's paintings are characterized by a realistic and impressive style,

paying lots of attention to accuracy and details.

His drawing objects and figures are experiences, events and meetings that the artist experienced and which made him inspired. Many of his paintings are a documentation of his travels in the Far East, and in particular, his journey to India.

Zarfati also deals with photography, constantly searching for life "Frames" that fascinate him, and already in a early point he can vision there future potential as his works.

His photographs participated in the book / photo album, "India - an Israeli-click"/2009.
